Glamorgan welcome back Aussies
Jimmy Maher
Maher in recent Pura Cup action
Australian pair Jimmy Maher and Michael Kasprowicz will return to Glamorgan as their overseas players for 2004.

Kasprowicz had a higly successful season for the club last summer, but Maher struggled to find his best form.

Coach John Derrick said: "Kaspo got 77 wickets for us. Jimmy didn't have the season he would have liked but he got 90-odd for Queensland the other day."

Kasprowicz was recalled to the Australian squad for a triangular one-day series in India last October.

He had been out of the international picture since the team's previous trip to the sub-continent in 2001.

Wicket-keeper/batsman Maher, meanwhile, was a member of the Australia's World Cup squad but has not been picked for the forthcoming VB series against India and Zimbabwe.
