Croft takes captaincy reins
NATIONAL LEAGUE ONE
Robert Croft takes over the Glamorgan captaincy
Leicestershire v Glamorgan
Grace Road
Sunday, 4 May, 1300 BST
With Steve James out for a month following knee surgery, Robert Croft will lead Glamorgan into their opening National League game at Leicestershire.

"Crofty is used to the captaincy now and will do a good job," said James.

Glamorgan's overseas player, Australian paceman Mike Kasprowicz, returns to the squad for the trip to Grace Road after recovering from a thigh strain.

But Darren Thomas' knee injury is worse than initially feared and he is likely to be out of action for another six weeks.

The BBC is offering live online coverage of the Leicestershire game, and all of Glamorgan's National Cricket League and Twenty20 matches.

Glamorgan squad for Leicestershire: IJ Thomas, RDB Croft (capt), MJ Powell, MP Maynard, DL Hemp, A Dale, MA Wallace (wk), MS Kasprowicz, DS Harrison, AG Wharf, AP Davies, DA Cosker
