Durham wicketkeeper Phil Mustard is enjoying playing international cricket after helping England to a Twenty20 series win over New Zealand. The 25-year-old made a decent 40 with the bat as England secured a result and the left-hander is unfazed by the attention that comes with touring. He told the BBC: "I don't think there were all eyes on me but I just felt it was a good opportunity to impress. "Twenty20 is a game of attack and is full of attacking shots." | We're moving forward in the right direction |
Sunderland-born Mustard also feels that the England side is ready to build on their Twenty20 success with the one-day games. "I think it's got the potential to go very far, we did it in Sri Lanka in good style, we're moving forward in the right direction," he added.
