Mustard pens new Durham contract

Phil Mustard
Mustard will start the Test series in Sri Lanka as second choice keeper

England wicket-keeper Phil Mustard has signed a new contract at Durham, keeping him at the county until 2010.

Mustard was first choice for England in Matt Prior's absence during the one-day series in Sri Lanka and will go back there with the Test side this month.

He joins batsman Kyle Coetzer in signing one-year extension to his deal.

Durham head coach Geoff Cook said: "I'm delighted that Phil and Kyle have extended their contracts. It's great to have them as we look to move forward."
