Morris' side have not lost in six Championship matches this year
Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris admits it is a relief to return to Championship cricket after finishing bottom of the Twenty20 North Division.
Morris told BBC Radio Derby: "We're all disappointed but we move on and get back to four-day cricket now.
"I'm disappointed that we're not still in the competition, but it's a relief that we can concentrate on the other cricket we've got in front of us."
Derbyshire host Leicestershire in the Championship, starting on 30 June.
They are currently unbeaten in the four-day form of the game, having won one and drawn five of their first six matches.
Morris added: "We've played some good solid cricket, it wasn't so long ago we were getting beaten in two and a quarter days so I'm not concerned about our four-day form, I'm concerned about our one-day form."
A win for Derbyshire at the County Ground could see them climb as high as second in the second division.
