Derbyshire have announced profits of nearly £15,000 for the financial year.

The £14,065 surplus for 2008 is down to increased ticket sales, the success of special events and an expanded conference and banqueting department.

Chief executive Keith Loring said: "Three successive profits is a great achievement and it is testament to the hard work of the off-field team."

"Supporters can be assured, however, that we will, by no means, be resting on our laurels."
