LV= COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP, DIVISION TWO, Swalec Stadium: Close, day one: Glamorgan 202, Gloucestershire 76-5 Glos 3pts, Glamorgan 2pts Match scorecard
Ben Wright and Graham Wagg hit priceless half-centuries as Glamorgan fought back on day one of their clash with Gloucestershire in Cardiff. Wright (83) and Wagg (58) put on 138 for the seventh wicket to rescue their side who had been left reeling at 54-6. Jon Lewis (3-40) did the initial damage before Ian Saxelby finished with a career-best 5-53 as Glamorgan were dismissed for 202. The fightback continued with the ball as the visitors reached stumps on 76-5. It came despite the Glamorgan attack losing Wagg to a hamstring injury after only one over. But his replacement Adam Shantry and James Harris both took two wickets to leave the contest delicately poised.
