James Tredwell finished with 11 wickets in the CB 40

James Tredwell claimed 4-20 as Kent defended 144 all out to beat Durham by 31 runs in their final CB 40 fixture.

Kent had Joe Denly (71) to thank for setting Durham any kind of a target, Chris Rushworth and Neil Kileen both taking three wickets.

But Durham fared no better with the bat, Ben Harmison top scoring with 34 as they were dismissed for 113.

Harmison was one of Tredwell's victims as he and Malinga Bandara (2-23) ripped out the home side's middle order.

Kent finish second in Group C but miss out on a place in the semi-finals to Essex.
