Kieswetter hit three sixes and 10 fours in his century
Craig Kieswetter hit 107 but could not prevent Worcestershire beating CB 40 semi-finalists Somerset by 49 runs.
Chasing 256 to win, Somerset were up against it from the moment Jack Shantry and Alan Richardson both took two wickets to help leave them 41-5.
Kieswetter and Peter Trego (35) added 109 for the sixth wicket but their side still fell well short on 206-9.
Shakib Al Hasan had earlier smashed 91 off 69 balls in Worcestershire's 255-9, Moeen Ali also contributing 50.
It was only Somerset's second defeat of the group stages, while Worcestershire have now won three in a row since Daryl Mitchell took over as captain.
Somerset must now beat Glamorgan at Taunton in their last group game on Saturday to guarantee a home semi-final.
Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "That one I was delighted with, Somerset are a very good one-day outfit.
"Those are the are the sort of wins, when we send them on them on their way and they think 'How did Worcester do that?'
"You have to take your hat off to the way we started, Alan Richardson bowled fantastically, but Jack Shantry's first over to Trescothick was awesome.
"Marcus is, for me, the best batsman playing domestic cricket at the moment and both Shants and Richo did a marvellous job, but it was not a one man show."
