COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TWO, Hove: Sussex v Glamorgan - No play day one, rain Match scorecard
Rain washed out the opening day of the County Championship Division Two clash between promotion-chasing Sussex and Glamorgan at Hove. Morning rain finally stopped at midday but umpires Peter Willey and Barry Duddleston abandoned play for the day at 1530 BST after three inspections. They ruled that parts of the outfield were too damp to start the match. Sussex go into the game 20 points clear of second-placed Glamorgan in the promotion race.
