Nottinghamshire beat the rain to thrash Warwickshire by seven wickets in the Clydesdale Bank 40 at Trent Bridge.

In a game reduced to 16 overs a side, only three visiting batsman made double figures in their 81-6.

With the weather again threatening, Notts reached their target in only eight overs, with David Hussey hitting an unbeaten 34 from 12 balls.

Warwickshire stay top of Group C but are now only a point ahead of Notts, who have a game in hand.
