Jacques Rudolph's century strengthened Yorkshire's grip at the top of Group B of the CB 40 with an eight-run victory over Derbyshire at Chesterfield. Rudolph, who scored a Championship ton against Notts in midweek, hit 105 in 107 balls, supported by Adam Lyth (91) as the visitors made 276-6. Chesney Hughes (54) and Wayne Madsen (65) kept the home side in contention. But, despite 27 not out from Graham Wagg, who earlier took 3-56, Derbyshire felt short on 268-8. Yorkshire stay top of Group B with 14 points from eight matches, four ahead of second-placed Gloucestershire, who have a game in hand.
