Di Venuto set Durham on their way to victory against Scotland

Michael Di Venuto guided Durham to a 47-run victory over Scotland in a rain-affected CB 40 Group C match.

The rain meant the match was reduced to 30 overs a side but the delay did not have an impact on Di Venuto who hit a classy 63 from 62 balls.

The Australian was ably assisted by Dale Benkenstein who smashed an entertaining 34 from 23 balls.

Gavin Hamilton blasted a spirited 64 but ran out of partners and Scotland fell way below the required rate.
