Du Toit has hit four half-centuries so far this summer

Jacques du Toit and James Taylor shared a third-wicket partnership of 109 before Leicestershire were pegged back by Glamorgan on day one at Swansea.

Taylor (70) and Du Toit (75) took the visitors to 201-2 before Du Toit was caught behind off Robert Croft.

That striker moved Croft, who had earlier accounted for Matt Boyce, to 999 career first-class wickets.

Leicestershire then lost Paul Nixon and Taylor, to James Harris and Dean Cosker respectively, to close on 225-5.
