Warwickshire cemented their hold on second spot in the North Group of the Friends Provident t20 as Yorkshire's quarter-final hopes took another blow. Keith Barker (35) and Darren Maddy (33) led the way as the Bears set a target of 155-8 in 20 overs at Headingley. But South African Ant Botha then took 3-16 as the Bears spinners helped limit Yorkshire to just 121-9. Opener Adam Lyth smashed 34 off just 16 balls but, once he had gone, the Tykes fell away to lose by 34 runs. Warwickshire are now four points clear of the pack in second place, four points adrift of North Group leaders Nottinghamshire. After playing each other in County Championship combat at Headingley on Monday, Yorkshire and Warwickshire both return to Twenty20 action on Friday night. Yorkshire take on Lancashire at Old Trafford (1740 BST) while the Bears are at Northants (1850 BST).
