Tom Maynard hit an unbeaten 78 to guide Glamorgan to a five-wicket FP t20 win over Surrey at The Oval and re-ignite their hopes of a quarter-final spot.

After a run of seven defeats in eight South Group games, Glamorgan were left chasing 169 after Mark Ramprakash's 63 not out helped Surrey to 168-4.

Matt Spriegel (2-28) threatened to have Glamorgan wobbling at 46-3.

But Maynard took centre stage, hitting five sixes and five fours to guide his side home with three balls to spare.
