Katich's previous t20 best for Lancashire was 36 against Durham

Australian Test star Simon Katich thumped 41 in just 19 balls to see Lancashire to victory against Leicestershire at Grace Road.

After Steven Croft had hit 42, Katich and Paul Horton (37no) put on a match-winning 57-run stand as Lancashire made 180-4 to win with three balls to spare.

Jacques Du Toit top scored for the home side with 69 in the Foxes' 176-6.

But the main driving force for Leicestershire was again youngster Jimmy Taylor, with 61 off 37 balls.
