Spinner Robert Croft has played for Glamorgan for 21 years

Robert Croft was thwarted in his bid to claim his 1,000th Glamorgan wicket as rain hit the final day of their drawn tour match with West Indies A.

The visitors were set a target of 287 to win the Swalec Stadium match but just an hour of play was possible because of downpours in Cardiff.

Veteran spinner Croft needed just three wickets to reach the thousand landmark.

Gareth Rees (55) and David Brown (99) were the pick of Glamorgan's batsmen but rain prevented a bid for victory.
