Allenby won the Twenty20 Cup with Leicestershire in 2006
James Allenby's second successive FP t20 half-century led Glamorgan to a seven-wicket victory over Hampshire.
Allenby scored 52 from 55 balls, to add to the 54 he scored against Gloucestershire on Friday.
Earlier, the former Leicestershire man had taken 2-18 as Hampshire were limited to 114-9 in their 20 overs.
Hampshire's Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, a World Twenty20 winner in 2009, struggled again - making 11 before conceding 23 runs in 3.2 overs.
Glamorgan's second successive Twenty20 victory was set up by spinners Robert Croft (2-16) and Jamie Dalrymple (2-26), who opened the bowling for the home side.
Michael Carberry (34) top-scored for Hampshire, while South African Neil McKenzie scored 21 off 22 balls.
Dominic Cork (15) hit the visitors' only six of the innings.
Allenby, who had earlier dismissed Carberry and Razzaq in successive balls, then carried his bat with four boundaries in his 52 not out as Glamorgan won with four balls to spare.
BBC Radio Solent's Kevan James: "Hampshire were undone by a Glamorgan side who fielded three spinners on a used track and were able to extract turn from the very start.
"Hampshire's total of 114 was never going to be enough, but they did well to take it to the last over. Perhaps another spinner in their side may have made the difference."
