CLYDESDALE BANK 40, Canterbury: Kent v Durham - match abandoned because of rain Kent 1pt, Durham 1pt
Sunday's Clydesdale Bank 40 Group C game between Kent and Durham at Canterbury was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain. Umpires Richard Kettleborough and Rob Bailey called the game off following an inspection at 1350 BST - only five minutes after the scheduled start. Both sides have been awarded one point as a result. The wash-out denied Makaya Ntini the chance of making his home debut after joining Kent on a short-term deal.
