Ramprakash hit 14 fours in his 271-ball 138

Mark Ramprakash hit 138 to help Surrey to a commanding first innings score of 368 in the rain-affected match against Glamorgan at the Swalec Stadium.

Ramprakash was helped by decent knocks from Michael Brown (40), Mark Butcher (65) and Jon Batty (41).

But his long stay in the middle ended when he was caught by James Harris off the bowling of Adam Shantry (4-72).

Glamorgan ended the day on 136-4 thanks mainly to Mark Cosgrove's 59, with a draw looking the most likely result.
