South African all-rounder Andrew Hall stunned Glamorgan with four quick wickets to inspire Northants' 35-run Friends Provident Trophy victory. In a rain-affected 39-over match at Wantage Road, Steve Crook top scored with 42 as the home side reached 200-9. Glamorgan were still in touch on 68-3 but Hall removed Michael Powell for 30. And Hall struck three more times to leave Glamorgan 95-8, only Dean Cosker and Adam Shantry saving face as they batted out their overs to make 165-8.
