COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP, Division One: Somerset v Durham, Taunton No play Tuesday - rain
Day one of the key top flight contest between Somerset and Durham at Taunton was abandoned without a ball bowled. Heavy overnight rain left parts of the Taunton outfield under water and after three inspections it was decided at 1500 BST that no play could take place. The teams have not yet been named so Somerset's Craig Kieswetter will have an extra day to recover from injury. Somerset, seven points ahead of Durham, are four points behind leaders Notts, who have played one match more.
