The Division Two Championship match between Derbyshire and Glamorgan ended in a draw after rain prevented any chance of play on the final day.

Heavy rain fell throughout the morning and left the outfield saturated.

In view of the awful forecast for the rest of Friday, umpires Michael Gough and Neil Mallender took the decision to abandon the match at 1100 BST.

Both teams take eight points for the draw, a setback to Derbyshire's hopes of promotion, with two games now left.
