Yorkshire bowlers Matthew Hoggard and Adil Rashid each took three wickets as Lancashire were reduced to 204-8 on the second day of their county game.

Lancashire had won the toss and elected to bat when play finally started midway through the second day of the match.

The visitors had been reduced to 87-4 and had all-rounder Steven Croft's 56 to thank for part of their recovery.

Lancashire will be disappointed at their total, while Yorkshire's bowlers made the most of an unhelpful pitch.
