Yasir Arafat took 6-86 and Joe Denly made 89 as Kent fought back strongly on day two of their County Championship match against Hampshire at Canterbury. Arafat and Azhar Mahmood (2-79) helped dismissed the visitors for 367 in just over an hour, having resumed on 312-5. Robert Key (67) and Denly put on a 110-run opening stand before Key was caught behind off Chris Tremlett. Kent had reached 241-3, trailing by 126 runs, when rain ended play prematurely with eight overs remaining.
