Kabir Ali became the first bowler to take 50 championship wickets this season with 6-94 to help Worcestershire dismiss Gloucestershire for 283. Among his victims was Australian Marcus North, who made 98 before he was out in the 90s for the third time this season. David Brown also contributed a career-best 83, in his first championship game of the summer. Worcestershire were left with seven overs to bat but lost Daryl Mitchell late on.
