County Championship D2, Chesterfield, (day one, stumps): Derbyshire v Northants 382-6
Former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener hit 135 to put Northamptonshire in a strong position on day one of their Division Two game. The 36-year-old was dropped twice early in his innings before he finally dragged Graham Wagg onto his stumps after the second new ball was taken. Klusener, who made fifties in his two previous Championship innings against Derbyshire, hit a six and 21 fours. With Riki Wessels making 79, Northants cruised to 382-6 at Queen's Park.
