Having dismissed the home side for 146, the visitors were looking to build a substantial advantage.

But they were only able to advance to 153-6, adding 19 to their overnight score, before rain halted play.

Just 26 balls were bowled, with Lance Klusener hitting three fours in his 14 and Nicky Boje reaching 18 not out.
