Mustard inspires Durham victory
NatWest Pro 40, Div 2, Riverside: Durham (146-5) bt Middlesex (145-8) by five wickets

Durham won their opening Pro40 match of the summer, beating Middlesex by five wickets with three balls to spare.

When a rain-curtailed game finally began Middlesex captain Ed Smith was in a hurry, hitting 30 off 19 balls.

Eoin Morgan's 52 off 46 balls helped the visitors to 145-8, and when Michael di Venuto was out first ball, Durham's chances looked slim.

But 49 by Phil Mustard revived their innings and and it fell to Garry Park to hit the winning runs.
