Nathan Astle's 78, along with two wickets for Anderson, made sure the 109-run victory was never in doubt.
The Dragons now face a relegation play-off against Hampshire next Sunday.
Astle led the Lightning to a daunting 256-7 and Anderson announced his comeback with the wicket of Robert Croft with his 10th legitimate ball.
He finished with 2-31 off seven overs he bowled.
