C&G Trophy, Headingley: Yorkshire 160-4 (26.5 ovs) bt Scotland 212-9 (50 ovs) England captain Michael Vaughan made a sparkling return as Yorkshire saw off Scotland by six wickets in the C&G Trophy under Duckworth/Lewis rules.
In his first innings for over three months, Vaughan (67) hit nine fours and a six, sharing 91 with Darren Lehmann.
Corey Richards set the Scots up with 40 and Colin Smith's 71 with five fours and a six bolstered the total to 212-9.
But Vaughan paced his innings superbly as the target of 158 in 30 overs was reached with 19 balls to spare.
Vaughan earlier distinguised himself in the field with a direct hit from short fine-leg to run out Scotland captain Craig Wright.
The Scotland innings faltered with only 49 runs added for the loss of five wickets in the last 10 overs.
