Robin Martin-Jenkins and Luke Wright shared 57 in 26 balls to lead Sussex to a five-wicket win over Somerset under the Duckworth/Lewis method at Horsham.

The match did not begin until 1500 BST and was originally 24 overs per side.

Matthew Wood struck 59 from 46 balls in Somerset's 158-7 and Sussex soon lost four wickets with the score on 16.

But Wright hit 32 from 13 balls with two sixes and Martin-Jenkins added a breezy 34 as the revised target of 122 was reached with 10 balls to spare.

Sussex had initially been set 159 to win in 24 overs, and they were struggling on 63 for four when rain forced an interruption after 10.3 overs.

Somerset would have won by 10 runs under the D/L method had a restart not been possible, but the flurry of boundaries saw Sussex to a thrilling win.
