C&G Trophy, Old Trafford: Lancashire v Nottinghamshire
Match abandoned, rainAttempts to get some sort of a result in the C&G Trophy between Lancashire and Nottinghamshire were ended by persistent rain in Manchester.
Stephen Fleming hit 26 in a Notts innings of 61-6 which lasted 19 overs, although for most of that the teams were playing 30 overs per side.
Lancashire were then given a target of 69 to win, also from 19 overs.
But a late deluge proved terminal, leaving the hosts - seeking their fifth win in six matches - frustrated.
The single point for a no result would not have helped Notts, who have seen rain ruin three of their matches.
