County Championship D2, Cardiff, day one (stumps): Glamorgan v Derbyshire 275-7
Chris Taylor continued his fine start at Derbyshire with a century but the visitors threw away a strong position against Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens.
Taylor hit 121 to put on 198 with Steve Stubbings (97) but they collapsed from 247-1 to 275-7 at close of day one.
Robert Croft bowled Stubbings and trapped Travis Birt lbw first ball.
Taylor was run out, Ant Botha also fell for a golden duck to Dean Cosker and Huw Waters bowled Hassan Adnan before Cosker trapped James Pipe lbw.
Stubbings and Taylor, who recorded his third century of the summer, appeared to have given Derbyshire the upper hand against a side missing key seamers Simon Jones, David Harrison and Alex Wharf.
Wharf hurt his ankle in the warm-up, meaning Waters had to be summoned from a second XI match in Bristol - he arrived 40 minutes late before trapping Michael di Venuto leg before.
The second-wicket pair were cruising until four wickets fell in three overs and there was an unseemly row when Taylor was run out after Adnan refused his call for a quick single.
