County Championship D1, Edgbaston, day one (stumps): Warwickshire 316 v Yorkshire 15-0Aussie Jason Gillespie had to wait most of the day for his maiden county wicket but Yorkshire still bowled Warwickshire out for 316 at Edgbaston.
Gillespie, who arrived from Bangladesh on Saturday, dismissed number nine Neil Carter to record 1-50 in 22.1 overs.
England tourist Alex Loudon and Jim Troughton both hit 73 for the Bears.
Craig White took 2-11 in his first spell since last August's knee injury, Anthony McGrath claimed 4-62 and the Tykes went to stumps at 15-0 in reply.
McGrath is relishing his role as Yorkshire's surprise package after success with his medium pace.
"Normally I just come on and try and slow it down, but with it nibbling a little bit I probably bowled more than normal," he said.
"I've worked on my bowling but I still see myself as a batsman who bowls.
"I don't have much pressure on me as a bowler and people don't really expect too much. I just try and keep it tight and give the main bowlers a break."
