Debutant Ganguly sees Sussex bat
County Championship D1, Swansea, day two (stumps): Sussex 225-2 v Glamorgan

Ganguly chats with a new team-mate
Ganguly bowled four overs on a chilly day

Sourav Ganguly spent the first day of his Glamorgan debut shivering in the field as Sussex gritted it out.

Put into bat in cloudy conditions with a day and a half lost to rain, the visitors ground their way to 225-2.

Richard Montgomerie weathered the entire day to reach 86 not out, while Murray Goodwin (63) helped him add an unbroken 92 for the third wicket.

Debutant Adam Harrison claimed his maiden first-class wicket when he had Ian Ward caught behind for 35.

He and brother David are the first set of siblings to play for Glamorgan for 22 years, since Alan and Eifion Jones.

Ganguly bowled four overs of medium pace for seven runs, including a maiden.
