Keedy earns vital point
County Championship D1, Worcester, day two (stumps): Lancashire 403-9 v Worcestershire

Last man Gary Keedy snatched a fifth batting point for Lancashire in the 68 minutes of play that were possible on day two of this Division One encounter.

Keedy edged Andy Bichel for four to edge the hosts past 400.

Relegation-threatened Lancashire managed to add three more runs before the rain returned to halt play.

Worcestershire are also in danger of the drop and they picked up a third bowling point when Graeme Hick held a slip catch to dismiss Warren Hegg.
