Holders face stern test
Alistair Brown
Brown's unbeaten 108 propelled Surrey into the last four
Benson & Hedges Cup holders Gloucestershire will have to topple Yorkshire at home if they want to defend their title at Lord's.

The Mark Alleyne-led side must go to Headingley on 25 June and beat David Byas's side.

On the same day Surrey will host Nottinghamshire at The Oval with a date at Lord's on their minds.

Gloucestershire defended their total of 199 to dismiss Durham for 133 to advance to the semi-finals on Tuesday.

Yorkshire romped home against Somerset with 13.2 overs to spare chasing a total of 211 to win at Taunton.

Michael Vaughan cracked an unbeaten 125 and Darren Lehmann 51 not out to see the Tykes to a comfortable win.

Nottinghamshire pipped Warwickshire by six wickets at Trent Bridge.

Set 213 to win Darren Bicknell hammered an unbeaten 117 to steer his side home with 3.5 overs in hand.

Surrey bowled out Sussex for 186 to triumph at Hove by 53 runs.

Richard Montogmerie's 83 was in vain as Alistair Brown's unbeaten 108 took Surrey to 239 for seven.
