![]() | Hick retained as captain ![]() Hick leads out Worcestershire last season Graeme Hick has kept his position as county captain of Worcestershire after missing out on a central contract with England. The county had delayed its decision on who would lead the side until after the ECB had awarded its contracts. Secretary Mike Vockins said: "The committee was unanimous in deciding that we want Graeme to continue as captain. "This does not mean in any way that we believe his Test career has ended but it is now easier for us and for him to focus on his role here." Appointed to the role for the first time last year, Hick missed much of the county programme because of international commitments. Steve Rhodes, who led the side when Hick was absent, continues as vice-captain. | Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Other top Counties stories: Links to top Counties stories are at the foot of the page. | ||
