Irate Campbell suspended

The sweep cost Campbell his wicket against the Kiwis
Zimbabwe batsman Alistair Campbell has been banned for one match for a show of dissent following his dismissal during Monday's ICC Knockout quarter-final against New Zealand.

Campbell was clearly incensed when West Indian umpire Steve Bucknor gave him out lbw for 47.

The left-hander stood his ground for several seconds before leaving the middle and made his feelings known in verbal fashion as he walked back to the pavilion.

Zimbabwe were eventually bowled out for 201 and lost the match by 64 runs.

Match referee Cammie Smith later found Campbell in breach of the International Cricket Council's code of conduct.

He will now miss Zimbabwe's first match at the Champions Trophy competition in Sharjah later this month, which also features Sri Lanka and India.
