The popular Nottingham pub band who, when time permits, boast England spinner Graeme Swann as their lead singer are called Dr Comfort and the Lurid Revelations. "Graeme's a natural on the stage and he loves it," said founder of the band and former Nottinghamshire left-arm spinner Andy Afford. "He has got a Bothamesque sort of confidence." England are expected to turn down a London victory parade so they can spend time with their families. England batsman Alastair Cook - talked about as a future national captain after taking on the role in Bangladesh early last year - appears to be in no rush to take full-time charge.
