After a slow start to the second day in Chittagong England's Paul Collingwood brings up his 50 with a well-run two as his partnership with Alastair Cook begins to gather pace
With England cruising Cook suddenly loses his concentration and falls cheaply popping a low, straight catch back to the bowler - still the skipper will be pleased with his knock of 173, his best Test score
Bell enters the fray for England and immediately gets amongst the runs, easily picking up singles against the Bangladesh bowling attack
Collingwood brings up his 10th Test century with a single and Warwickshire batsman Bell reaches his 23rd Test 50 as the score moves on to 524-4
The duo up the pace as the afternoon session progresses but both are caught on the boundary after similar shots, Collingwood for 145, Bell on 84, and England declare on 599-6
Stuart Broad takes the new ball and has Imrul Kayes caught behind in his second over before catching Junaid Siddique off his own bowling to leave Bangladesh 27-2 at tea
Spinner Graeme Swann had Aftab Ahmed caught at short leg by Ian Bell to claim a wicket in his first over for the 12th time for England
Opener Tamim Iqbal is playing a solid innings down the other end though and brings up his fifth Test half century as he puts on 94 for the fourth wicket with Mahmudullah
Mahmudullah reaches his third Test half century, but his 64-ball stay at the crease is ended by England's sole spinner Swann
Swann also bowls Shakib Al Hasan before the close of play to complete an excellent spell that sees him claim 3-40 off 14 overs
Tamim clips his 13th and last boundary for the day off his legs and finishes on 81 not out, but Bangladesh remain deep in trouble at the end of day two on 154-5, 445 runs adrift of England
