Kirtley made his England Test debut in 2003 |
Sussex bowler James Kirtley has signed a new one-year contract at the club, meaning he will spend a 16th season playing at Hove. The 35-year-old has played 249 one-day matches in his career and was the second-highest wicket-taker in one-day cricket last season, with 44 wickets. "During my time with Sussex I've been lucky enough to have played in a hugely successful team," Kirtley said. "I'm looking forward to fighting hard to bring more silverware to Hove."
