One of England's two Tests against Bangladesh next summer has been moved from Headingley to Old Trafford.
Headingley will now host a neutral Test between Pakistan and Australia, with Lord's staging Tests in both series.
The two Twenty20 internationals between Pakistan and Australia will take place at Edgbaston, with Cardiff hosting two Twenty20s between England and Pakistan.
Bristol will stage a Twenty20 with Sri Lanka in 2011, when Old Trafford will also host a Twenty20 match with India.
Old Trafford has not staged a Test since 2008, and was controversially overlooked for an Ashes Test this year.
Meanwhile, Lord's will stage three Tests in 2010 for only the second time in its history.
England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Giles Clarke said the scheduling ensured: "...that the largest number of members of the Pakistani ethnic community across Britain can see the neutral Test matches between Pakistan and Australia as well as ensuring a good geographical spread of the matches."
Continuing security concerns in Pakistan are the reason for England hosting their matches against Australia.
Lancashire chief executive Jim Cumbes said: "We are delighted at the news. This is a huge endorsement from the ECB, and recognition of the amount of work that is going on to ensure the redevelopment of Old Trafford.
"It is now imperative that we press on with the second phase of the development if we are not to miss out on bidding for the Ashes Test match in 2013. The bidding process is likely to start in mid 2010."
Glamorgan chairman Paul Russell said: "We are delighted and honoured to have been awarded two additional international fixtures in 2010.
"I am enormously proud of the team here at the Swalec Stadium that delivered a spectacular Ashes Test match this year.
"I have every confidence that we will once again deliver successful international matches in future years and will continue to confirm our reputation as the finest international Test match venue outside London."
