England get off to the best start possible on day two of the third Test with Graham Onions trapping Shane Watson lbw with the first ball of the day
Unbelievably Mike Hussey leaves a straight one from Onions and is bowled first ball, consecutive wickets for the Durham lad as Australia slump from 126-1 overnight to 126-3
Onions and England cannot believe the start they have had after Thursday's poor effort in the bowling department
There is some happy news for Australia when captain Ricky Ponting becomes the top Australian Test run scorer of all time, beating Allan Border's mark of 11,174
But the joy doesn't last long for Ponting as he edges a bouncer from Onions to wicketkeeper Matt Prior for 38 and England take their third wicket of the morning
And it continues to be England's morning as James Anderson gets in on the wickets, Michael Clarke departing lbw for 29, Australia 193-5
Anderson becomes the second England bowler of the morning to take two wickets in two balls when Marcus North edges for 12 and Mitchell Johnson is out for a duck, a double wicket maiden for the "Burnley Express"
Wicketkeeper Graham Manou, a very late addition to the Aussie team, bats for the first time in a Test and makes eight before Anderson cleans him up, his fourth wicket of the morning, England's seventh and at lunch Australia are wobbling on 203-8
Anderson takes the match ball as he ends with five wickets in the innings, his seventh five-for in Test cricket, Australia are all out for 263
It doesn't take Manou long to get his first catch in Test cricket when England opener Alastair Cook nicks one behind, Ponting cannot contain his delight
Cook trudges off after a fourth-ball duck, Peter Siddle gets the wicket, and England are 2-0
And after the tea interval Ravi Bopara heads back to the pavilion after playing on, bowled by Hilfenhaus for 23, England 60-2
But Strauss settles the nerves once more and records the 15th Test fifty of his career as England avoid the follow-on
