Four wickets from Scott Barlow helped Devon fight back on the opening day of their match at Shropshire. The hosts were in control on 310-4 at tea, but Barlow's wickets enabled Devon to bowl Shropshire out for 364, with Devon reaching 82-1 by the close. Shropshire opener Ed Foster was on top form with the bat, scoring 145 before he fell to Ian Bishop. Foster was ably supported by Jono Whitney (57), Atiq-ur-Rehman (47) and Richard Oliver (38).
