Herefordshire's David Exhall just missed out on a century as Cornwall took firm control of the Minor Counties game on day two at Brockhampton.

Exhall finished 98 not out, with Hashad Patel making 76, as the hosts reached 299-8 in replay to Cornwall's 384.

The visitors closed the day closed on 182-7 in their second innings, a lead of 267, with Matt Robins and Dan Davies both making half centuries.

Charlie Griffiths picked up his second five wicket haul of the game.
