Radio 4's Shipping Forecast is forced to take a back seat as one of the most dramatic finishes in Ashes history unfolds on the fourth day of the Second Test at Edgbaston.

Australia - already 1-0 up in the series - had begun the morning on 175 for eight, chasing a highly improbable 282 for victory. Incredibly, they got to within three runs of victory.....but it was England who won what has come to be known as 'The Greatest Test'.
