The island claimed a narrow victory over Gibraltar last week

Isle of Man's Under-17s moved into the top half of the ICC European Division Two Championship on Friday, following a tight victory over Gibraltar.

In their final match in the Championship, they batted well to reach 185-2 from their 40 overs.

Luke Lacey top scored 47, while Alex Stokoe made 30.

Gibraltar then made a spirited reply but fell just short on 178-7, to leave the Manx youngsters celebrating their seven-run win.
